After that, they start to prepare the food, types of banitsa, breads, wine,

and brandy, as well as the things that they’ll bring to the girl.

after they go to the groom they go to the bride. [There’s been a lot of] cooking

and decorate [it all] with basil. They put it out and everyone takes some.

18 (c) ugotvìli jèden’e pìen’e i turcìtȉ če dòjdu na zgòvor
they prepared food and drink, since the Turks were coming for the agreement.

19 (c) došlì turcìtȉ na zgòvor dogdè onì jèli i pìli turcìtȉ u sòbu
The Turks came [to conclude] the agreement. And while the Turks ate and drank inside,
